If you get on this surgery's bad side they will band together to protect themselves and blame you for all their mistakes. During the phonecall I could hear other staff interjecting and was never allowed to get my point across. This wasn't confidential communication with a patient, they were ganging up to win an argument.

I had a very impressive experience back in December. I awoke with a extremely painful headache just behind my left eye. The pain was excruciating. I then became aware that I could not control my left hand. I became aware that I could not cope with bright lights. I then realised that compared to normal I was super aware of the sounds in the street outside. I thought I was having a stroke. My partner rang the practice and tried to get an appoinment with my GP Dr Dent. He was not able to see that morning, and impressively nang back in 20 mins saying that I had an emergency apptmnt with Dr Cook later in the morning. My partner took me to the practice, where I was seen by Dr Cook. He spent 20 mins going through all my symptons and told me that I had not had a stoke or a heart attack, but I had someting called Episodic Cluster Migraine. I was so relieved to know it was nothing more than a migraine. He gave me a prescription for some powerful painkillers and said he would arrange an apptmnt at the N&N (Neurology). Within 20 minutes of taking the pain killers the pain started to subside and by the next day I was back to normal. I had my appmtment at the N&N just 10 days later and was given a clean bill of health asnd confirmation that I might have an ECM again. Thank you Oak Street Practice- very efficient and effective.

GP was unsupportive and dismissive and never listened to my concerns about ADHD in the first place, causing me to go to a private surgery, pay £500 and get diagnosis, and even after this they have behaved disgracefully and made it extremely difficult for me to get my prescription - almost as punishment for defying them.

Was diagnosed with ADHD and was unsupported at every step of the way. After moving city and following all advice and protocol, I failed to receive my prescription after waiting a week. When I rang the practice at the time I was told, I was blamed, bullied and lied to on the phone by manager and colleagues. I was told it had been posted to a pharmacy in my old city and that it was my fault, despite emailing them a week prior a new pharmacy address and option for a designated pickup - as I was told to do. After ringing the pharmacy in question I was then told this wasn't true and it hadn't been posted at all, and the surgery hadn't been answering their phonecalls from the pharmacy.

This is the worst I have ever been treated, as a patient or customer. They reduced me to tears and made me feel like dirt for simply trying to get hold of drugs that I was entitled to, for a condition that makes my life extremely difficult every single day. I worked so hard to get this diagnosis so I could improve my life and they should be ashamed of themselves. For a service that is supposed to provide care they are the complete opposite. They ended the call by removing me from their books because they were found out. I can't make this any clearer, please avoid at all costs.

The only reason I eventually got my prescription was because a Boots pharmacist based in Norwich Chapelfield was kind enough to use her day off to pick up my dosage from the GP personally, and post it to me after hearing what happened.

I just use the chemist attached to Dr's surgery, a busy place, kind helpful friendly staff.
